As leaders in the local farming community for almost 45 years, it has been our mission to lead by experience and example, as a responsible, caring, and professional business. We have a modern, open and responsible approach to the production and delivery of our products and services. Our farming enterprise development reflects the diversity of the landscape within which we operate, and we have numerous projects dedicated to the upliftment of our surrounding communities.

We employ 300 permanent staff across our farms and because seed production and forestry are both labour intensive enterprises we employ a further 1 000 people on a seasonal basis for specialised tasks such as detasseling and harvesting of maize and forestry products. We are significant employers in our areas of farming.

As farmers and landowners, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to our environment, which includes the land which we farm, the resources we employ and the community we serve. The development and management of our farms, the way we plan land-use and crop production practices remains critical to ensure the sustainability of our activities, both from a business perspective and from an enterprise development perspective. The success of our business ensures the success of our community.
